Janet L. Murphy, 65, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
Janet was born on April 9, 1957, in Warsaw, Indiana the daughter of Ivan and Glenna (Witmer) Werstler. She was united in marriage to Michael L. Murphy on January 15, 1977, in Warsaw who proceeded her July 1, 1997.
She worked as a front end manager for R. P. Home and Harvest Store in Warsaw since 2007. Janet had very few hobbies because she was known to work all the time. She continued her husband's legacy of taking care of all her family especially with the Holiday Traditions. She faithfully served many businesses in our local community.
Janet will be lovingly remembered by her companion Vern Zartman of Warsaw; Mother, Glenna Werstler of Pierceton; daughter, Jessica (Rodolfo) Puga of Mentone ; sisters, Peggy (Dennis) Juillerat of Larwill, Brenda (Pat) Landrigan of Pierceton, and Lisa (Jeff) Fitzgerald of Warsaw, one brother Terry (Robin) Werstler of Larwill. In addition, Janet is survived by her grandchildren, Tyler(Amber) Blain, Kaila (Chase) Bartley, Jaymin Aguilar, Allison Aguilar, and Ivan Puga, and one great grandson, Travis Fuller. In addition to her husband Michael, she was preceded in passing by her father Ivan.
