Marie Jane Moss, 77, passed peacefully with her loving husband by her side. She was called to heaven at 7:00am on September 29, 2022 at WDH in Dover, NH, on the 20th anniversary of her mother's passing.
Marie (Jane) was born May, 4 1945 to the late Marie Rita Goodwin in Amesbury, MA. Jane met her caring and devoted husband John (Jack) in spring of 1963. They were wed October 11, 1964. She loved being a wife, homemaker and mother to her four children, as well as many other children in the home day care she ran for over 25 years. Jane had a tremendous heart and always cared for everyone's children as her own. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and never let anyone's birthday go by without sending a card with one dollar for every year of their age. Jane always knew how to make people feel special and was the first to be willing to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed.
Jane is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, John "Jack" Moss of Dover, NH, their children Jacqueline Johnson, JoAnn Gayheart, John Moss III, and Paula-Jean Doyle, her siblings Joann Doyle and Robert Goodwin, and aunt Mary Adrienne Troian. She cherished her 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as her many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her mother, Marie Rita Goodwin, her sister Diane Nichols and her nephew Paul Goodwin.
Visitation took place Friday Oct. 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home 118 Friend st. in Amesbury, MA. followed by a graveside service in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Amesbury, MA.
