Heart Attack Fatal
COLUMBUS, Kan.—Mrs. Flora F. Owen, 62 years old, died early Sunday morning of a heart attack in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Frobish, in Raytown. Mo. Mrs. Owens, whose home was east of Columbus, had been in her daughter's home since being released from Columbus City hospital January 8.
Born in Indiana March 9, 1894, she came with her parents to near Joplin when a child, later moving to Weir. She married Isaiah Owen August 17, 1912, and they lived in Weir until 1927, when they moved to south of Columbus. In 1944, they moved to their present home, east of Columbus near the Missouri line. She was a member of the Weir Baptist church. During World War II, she was employed at the Parsons ordnance plant, and later was an employe of Elder shirt factory in Carl Junction.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two other daughters, Mrs. Vera Holmes of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Daisy Haynes of St. Louis; a brother, Louis Faulk of Compton, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon in Jorden funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hosey Hill cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home chapel until the funeral hour,
