Age 88, Alice was born February 17, 1934 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter the late Steven and Mae (Sobish) Grubba. She attended local grade schools and P.J. Jacobs High School.
Her marriage to Robert A. Mancheski took place on September 15, 1951 in Stevens Point. Her husband preceded her in death on November 28, 2010.
Together her and Robert ran and operated the North Side Bar for many years until Robert's retirement in 2001. The most memorable part of the bar was conversing with their customers that often became friends.
In her free time, Alice enjoyed traveling, especially the ocean, bowling, and doing Pilates.
Her most precious and favorite time was spending it with her grandchildren.
Alice was a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society, Rose # 18.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Alice's name at a later date.
Survivors include three daughters; Debra (Kenneth) Kuzynski, Christine Mancheski and Heidi Mancheski all of Stevens Point. Her three sons; Michael (Colleen) Mancheski of Stevens Point, Karl Mancheski of Weston and Joseph Mancheski of Stevens Point; 22 Grandchildren, and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Alice was the last of her family, and was preceded in death by her son Robert Jr. six brothers; Steven, Raymond, James, Emil, Leonard and Donald, and three sisters Laura, Grace and Marlene.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Saturday morning at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters Church until the time for mass. A Parish Rosary led by the Rosary Society will be prayed at 9:15 A.M.
