Orin Thomas "Hoss" Adams, age 71, of Ozark, Arkansas died Sunday July 10, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a Tower man for the Oil Field; was of the Baptist Faith, a member of West Park Baptist Church in Ozark, a 32 degree Mason, and a part of the Lay Witness Mission. Hoss was born December 17, 1950 to Virgle Lee and Lillian Phillips Adams. He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Logan Thomas Diel.

Hoss is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy L. Bufford Adams; one daughter, Sandi Diel of Winfield, Kansas; one sister, Wilma Dickerson of Ozark; four grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Joshua, and Torrie Diel; and one great grandson, Logan Diel.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at West Park Baptist Church 500 North 29th Street Ozark, with Brother Randall Qualls officiating, with burial at Kersey Cemetery Caulksville, Arkansas under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ty Berry, Frank Reardon, Jimmy Richard, Carson Dickerson, Allen McElroy, and Michael Stover.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations be made to St. Jude hospital.
