RED LION Doris Jean (Prevatte) Cassel Tyson, 62, of York Township, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Ralph H. Tyson, to whom she was married 18 years on September 30, 2007. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Cassel, on October 13, 1981. Burial will be private in St. Paul (Lebanon) Lutheran Cemetery in Felton. Mrs. Tyson was born in Galivants Ferry, S.C., on September 8, 1945, a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Gracie E. (Shelley) Prevatte. She retired after eight years of service at Fulton Bank. Prior to that, she retired after 25 years of service at J.C. Penny. Mrs. Tyson was a member of Christ United Methodist in Yoe and Order of the Eastern Star #169. Mrs. Tyson leaves a daughter, Sherry (Cassel) Cook and her husband, Michael of Alabama; granddaughters, Lindsey and Hannah; stepgrandchildren, Michael, John, and Joel; four step great-grandchildren; a brother, Lynnwood Prevatte and his wife, Linda of North Carolina; and a sister, Esther Marshall of Florida.
