age 85, of Nevis, Minnesota passed away peacefully July 13, 2017.

Ted was born in Minneapolis and graduated from South High where he met his wife, Cathy (Walker).

Ted joined the Air Force and was stationed in Japan and Korea during the Korean War. They lived in various parts of the state when he worked first as a parole officer and eventually as the Personnel Director for the Department of Corrections. After retiring in 1989 he became involved with the Lake Associations in the Nevis area.
He also voluntarily wrote and edited a DOC Retiree Newsletter.
He is proceeded in death by his soulmate, Cathy. He is Survived by 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00PM at Cease Family Funeral Home, Park Rapids, MN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Headwaters Animal Shelter or Disabled American Veterans.
