Gaylen was born August 6, 1925 to Thomas & Millie (Reynolds) Strange in Wayne County, IL. Gaylen was a Army Veteran of WWII. He was also a member of VFW Post#9801, and the DAV state unit #14.
Gaylen is survived by two sons: Gaylen B. Strange, Jr., Gregory B. Strange; four Grandchildren: Jennifer Eldridge, Barbara Peters, Gaylen Strange III, Corey Strange; three Great Grandchildren; three sisters: Hazel Hillyer, Vera Wheeler, Genell Hillyer
Gaylen was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Services were held Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
Interment followed at Bunker Cemetery in Rinard, IL.
