Adna Marvin Richard Jr. (known as Junior) was born March 17, 1921 in Kings County, son of Adna M. Richmond and his wife Marguerite Kearns. He was a veteran of WWII. Junior was married Nov. 3, 1945 to widow Hazel belle (Mock) Dooley. HE died Jan. 3, 1990 in Porterville.
Graveside services for Adna Richmond Jr., 68, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lemoore Cemetery. Mr. Richmond died Wednesday. HE was a technical engineer for the U. S. Forest Service for 33 years. He was born in Lemoore and lived there until 1960. Surviving are his wife, Hazel; three sons, William J. Dooley, Thomas V. Dooley of Walnut Creek and Marvin H. Richmond of Stockton, a daughter, Donna Moore of Sacramento; a brother, Lawrence of Florida; a sister, Emogene Holweger of Washington; and 10 grand children. The Phipps Dale Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
