Cora was the youngest daughter of Joseph & Elizabeth (Keiser) Leedy. On August 30, 1896 she married Victor Albert Merrin in Knox County, Ohio. Victor was the eldest son of Theodore & Olive (Cochran) Merrin. Together Victor and Cora had five children: Leslie Elbert, Frances Marguerite, Inez Elizabeth, Kathryn Odelle, and Mildred Edythe. Their marriage ended in November of 1909. Cora married George Robert Bowman on June 22, 1910 in Richland County, Ohio and they had one son: Glenn Leroy.
