Joseph was 5 years old when his brother---my Great Grandfather (Pete Graves) was born.

Joseph "Joe" Graves (at Age 29) married Caroline Elizabeth "Carrie" Lochabay in San Saba, Texas, on January 28, 1911.

They had two children during their marriage.

Children were;
Mary Lee GRAVES Mitchell 1915-1989
Lota Pete GRAVES Reeves 1917-1985

Joseph died on September 12, 1963, at the age of 82.

Funeral services for Joe Graves, 82, of 525 Villa Drive, will be at 2 p.m. today at
Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Gerald Young, pastor of West Heights Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

Graves, a retired rancher, died Thursday in a local convalescent home.

He had been a resident of Corpus Christi 20 years.

Survivors are his wife, Carrie; two daughters, Mrs. A. P. Mitchell of Eunice, N.M., and Mrs. R. M. Reeves of Bay City; a brother, John Graves of Junction; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
