Elizabeth Prunier Forbes, age 95, passed away on May 9, 2021 in Florence, South Carolina. Mrs. Forbes was born to Francis and Ruth (Patch) Prunier on February 11, 1926 in Burlington, Vermont. Mrs. Forbes was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, her sister, one son, a granddaughter and her husband and father of her children Philip Brown.

Mrs. Forbes is survived by four sons and two daughters: Richard (Marie) Brown of Stratford, CT; Andrew Brown of Milford, CT; Ruthmary Masters of Rock Hill, SC; Albert (Jane) Brown of West Palm Beach, FL; Bernard (Florence) Brown of Johnsonville, SC; and Lorraine Brown of Waterbury, CT; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Forbes worked as the department head/dispatcher of the Newtown Emergency Dispatch Services and retired from the Town of Newtown, CT. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Southbury, CT where she lived for 36 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will truly be missed.
