Mrs. Mima Estelene Smith, age 66, of Aly, AR died Sunday, October 16, 1994 at her home in Aly. She was born January 26, 1928 in Aly, daughter of the late Marvin and Sallie Parker Stokes. She was the widow of Dave Smith, a mother and homemaker and member of the Aly Church of God.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Ann Smith, granddaughter, Gayla Lambert, and nephew, Greg Swaim.

Survivors include two daughters. Linda Bissell of Story and Lisa Lambert of Aly; granddaughter, Tressie Lambert of Chula; grandsons, Jason Bissell of Story and Davy Lambert of Aly; a brother, Bennie Stokes of Aly; three sisters, Laverne McGill of Farmersville, CA, Ruby Stewart of Story and Cora Swaim of Aly.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Muddy Creek Church of God with Rev. Bill Singleton and Rev. Charles Scantlin officiating. Burial was in Reed Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Johnny Stokes, Michael Stokes, Tim Stokes, Keith Stokes, Jerry Wheeler and Mervin Lambert. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. (WWW.YellCountyObits.org, Submitted by: Patron, 10/16/1994)
