Robert Bauman, 29, Quincy, was killed Monday afternoon (from a horrible accident which I have edited out)

Mr. Bauman was born in Quincy July 11, 1939, a son of Gerry and Frances Strieker Bauman. He had served in the Korean War. He was a member of the United Cement, Lime and gypsum Workers International Union A F of L No 270 and worked as a mechanic for Menke Stone and Lime Co.

Surviving are his parents; a brother, and a sister. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerry William Bauman, and three sisters, Mary Ann, Norma Jean and Clara.

Services are being handled by the Duker funeral home.
