Mikey Cagle, age 17, of Kennard, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in Kennard. Mikey was born August 20, 1990 in Kosciusko, Mississippi and had lived in Kennard for the past 11 years. Mikey was a student of Kennard High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennard. Mikey was currently employed at Whataburger in Crockett.
Survivors include his mother Mary Jane Ragan and husband, Darren Ragan, Sr., of Crockett; father Michael Ray Cagle, Sr. of Miss.; brother Darren Lee Ragan, Jr., of Crockett; sisters Shawna Lynn Cagle, of Baytown and Destiny Danielle Sutton, of Crockett; grandmother Patricia "Memaw" Bass, of Crockett; step-grandmother Dixie Ragan of Angier, N C.; uncle and aunt Johnny and Dianna Bass, of Kennard; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his grandfathers Allen Lee "Paw Paw" Bass and Quinon Cagle; and aunt Terrie Bass.
Funeral Services for Mikey Cagle were held Sunday, December 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Kennard with the Rev. Jim Durham officiating. Interment followed in the Ratcliff Antioch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Ministry, P.O. Box 277, Kenard, TX. 75847.
