He was a 1963 graduate of Barnesville High School, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio Dominican University. He was a retired social worker from the Belmont County Board of MRDD, and Belco Crafts. He was a member of the Assumption of the B.V.M. Catholic Church, Barnesville, and a lifetime member of the Barnesville Elks BPOE 1699.
His memory is cherished by his wife, Connie (McEndree) Taylor; children, Matt and Phillip; stepchildren, Michelle and Robert; grandchildren, Jessica, Todd, Logan, Andrew, Olivia, and Haleigh; great grandchildren, Peyton, Paizlie, Paxtyn, Blayne, and Baylor; nephew, Danny; nieces, Amy T. and Amy R.; several great-nieces and nephews; many other beloved family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Murphy; brother-in-law, John; niece, Johnna Murphy; grandson, Peston Taylor.
