Angie married James M. Nelson on July 27, 1996 in East Tawas.
She worked as a COH Supervisor at AuSable Valley Mental Health, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and helping others. Angie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, going to the casino, camping and being with her family. She had an uncanny way of reaching people in a deep and positive way.
Angie is survived by her husband, James Nelson; children, Alexandriah (Evan), Dartagnan and Rebekah; her parents, James and Rebecca French; father-in-law, Jimmie Nelson; siblings, Jonathan (Cara) VanSumeren, Nicole (Scott) Herrick, Bradley (Kristi) French and Rene (John) Wilcox; and a grandson, Jace.
