Angela M. Nelson, age 45, of Oscoda, passed away peacefully on Jan. 4, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw.

She was born Dec. 23, 1976 in Tawas City.

Angie married James M. Nelson on July 27, 1996 in East Tawas.

She worked as a COH Supervisor at AuSable Valley Mental Health, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and helping others. Angie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, going to the casino, camping and being with her family. She had an uncanny way of reaching people in a deep and positive way.

Angie is survived by her husband, James Nelson; children, Alexandriah (Evan), Dartagnan and Rebekah; her parents, James and Rebecca French; father-in-law, Jimmie Nelson; siblings, Jonathan (Cara) VanSumeren, Nicole (Scott) Herrick, Bradley (Kristi) French and Rene (John) Wilcox; and a grandson, Jace. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Susan Nelson.Angela M. Nelson

Age 45, of Oscoda, MI passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born December 23, 1976 in Tawas City, MI. Angie married James M. Nelson, July 27, 1996, in East Tawas, Michigan. She worked as a COH Supervisor at AuSable Valley Mental Health, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and helping others. Angie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, going to the casino, camping and being with her family. She had an uncanny way of reaching people in a deep and positive way. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Susan Nelson. Her funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am (instate at 10:00 am) on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda, MI with Rev. Charles Donajkowski officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm at the Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, MI.
