Services for Mrs. Curless In Loraine, Wife of Prominent Resident Buried Monday Afternoon, "Loraine, Ill., Sept. 9.—Funeral services for Mrs. S. M. Curless, 67, were held from the Newel Sapp home Monday afternoon. The Rev. Mr. Albertson of the M. E. church, officiated. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Gertrude Howard and Mrs. Ethel Earp. — Mrs. Curless was born in LaGrange, Mo., December 6, 1858, and died September 6, 1925. She was the daughter of James and Susan Windsor who moved to Missouri in the early fifties from Kentucky. She was educated at LaGrange College and was a member of the Baptist church of LaGrange until after he marriage when she transferred to the M. E. church of Loraine, of which her husband was a member. — She was united in marriage to Sam M. Curless, Dec. 23, 1875. To this union were born three daughters who, with her husband and one brother, J. S. Windsor, of LaGrange, Mo., survive. The 3 daughters, Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild are also living."
