KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Michelle Carol "Lil Hud" Hudson of Kansas City, Mo., 25, and a native of Springdale and Harrison, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 1, 2008, in Kansas City. She was born Sept. 26, 1982, in Harrison to Michael Hudson and Kim Hudson Umber.

Michelle had a passion for Christ, people, missions, softball and water sports. She was adventurous and loved the outdoors, She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Springdale, Youth with a mission (YWAM), Priority 1 president and 2000 SHS graduate. Michelle had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh like no other.

Survivors include her father, Michael Hudson of Harrison; her mother, Kim Umber and Greg Umber of Springdale; one brother, Dawayne Hudson of Harrison; two sisters, Brittany and Lauren Umber, both of Springdale; grandparents, Lois Hudson of Harrison, Ivan and Nancy Walker of Waterville, Kan.; great-grandparents, Grace Walker of Bergman, Argil and Neoma Curtis of Bergman.

Pallbearers are Dawayne Hudson, Justin Hudson, Keith Hudson, Wayne Hudson, David Hudson, Jay Guerra.

Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Smith, Tommy Bitner.

The family welcomes friends to visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church in Springdale with Dr. Ronnie Floyd officiating.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at York Cemetery in Bergman with Pastor Arlis Thrasher officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shiloh Christian School Global mission's experience.
