WICHITA - Shirley P. Murphy, 92, of Wichita died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Leon to Leslie and Daisy (Spring) Patrick. She lived in Oswego most of her life and was the retired principal of Oswego's elementary school.
She married John Murphy. He died in March 1991.
Survivors include a son, John Murphy and his wife, Xiping, of Wichita; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Phillip Patrick of Sweeny, Texas.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murdock Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Stapleton officiating. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery. Friends may call until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home in Oswego.
