She was born April 10, 1903, in Morgan, a daughter of Willard Marco and Nancy Lowe Johnson.
She married Samuel A. Mikesell Oct. 8, 1924 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 2, 1965. He died Jan. 22, 1981.
She was a member of the LDS Church and had served as MIA Maid teacher, Primary teacher, and as a visiting teacher.
She had lived most of her life in Morgan.She had worked for the Del Monte cannery in Morgan and in Hyrum, Utah. She had also worked for the Rock Cafe and the Utah Knitting Mill in Ogden.
She also served on the Old Floks Committee in Morgan for several years.
Surviving are three daughters and three sons. Mrs Earl (LaVell) Lythgoe, Ogden; Mrs. Otto (Carlene) Doffee, Merced, Calif.; Mrs Peggy Smith, Layton; Wendell S. Mikesell and Gerald D. Mikesell, both of Morgan; Scott O. Mikesell, Sunset; 32 grandchildren, and 55 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one sister, Mrs Parley (Norma) Carter, Porterville.
She was preceded in death by one son, one granddaughter, one great-grandaughter, one sister, and one brother.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Morgan 6th Ward Chapel, 2700 S. Morgan Valley Drive with Bishop Errol Nelson officiating.
Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Interment will be in the South Morgan Cemetery.
