David F. Everett, 70, of Conesville, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Columbus Junction. Interment will be held at the Conesville Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic Rites performed at 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Conesville Fire Department and Shriners Children's Hospital. David Fredrick Everett was born August 23, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Irvin Fredrick "Freddy" and Beverly Ann (Pine) Everett. He graduated from Columbus Community Schools. David was united in marriage to Marcia Marie Lewis on December 3, 1977 in Columbus Junction. David worked on a drilling rig with R.W. Sitton and in the telephone communication field for several years. He was a member of the Columbus City Masonic Lodge #107 Scottish Rite, KAABA Shriners, Ducks Unlimited, NRA and a member of the Conesville Volunteer Fire Department. David enjoyed hunting, especially duck hunting, fishing, tinkering in the garage and creating things with duct tape. He coached little league and worked in the pits at Columbus Junction Raceway.
David will be dearly missed by his wife, Marcia Everett of Conesville; two daughters, Lindsey (Eric) DeWall of Palmer and Stacey (Troy) House of Conesville; one grandson, Eli DeWall; mother, Beverly England of Zellwood, FL and siblings, Douglas (Cindy) Everett of Ocala, FL, Duane (Laura) Everett of Leesburg, FL, Connie (Dany) Clark of Columbus Junction, Kathy (Ed) Erickson of New Boston, and Karen (Harlan) Warnstaff of Conesville.
David was preceded in death by his father.
