John Lewis Flores, age 49, of Novice, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his residence.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating his life at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

John Lewis Flores was born September 24, 1973, in Coleman to John M. Flores and Sulema "Sue" Ybarra Flores. He grew up in Coleman County and graduated from Coleman High School. He was an accomplished welder, working for Bolton Steel, Petro Smith, and was currently working for J.H. Strain and Son's.

John had a big heart and was the life of the party. He enjoyed playing his guitar, reading, collecting comic books, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan. John loved all genres of music and spending time with his family. We will miss you "John Black."

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sue Flores; and one brother, John Flores, Jr.

He is survived by two sisters, Margie Flores of Novice, and Jane Kincaid and husband Kelly of Novice; four nieces, Tonya Kincaid, Grace Kincaid, Wynona Kincaid, and Kelly Lynn Kincaid; and many great nieces and nephews.
