Jeffrey A. Waddell, 64, passed Monday, October 3, 2022, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Susan M. (Anthony) Waddell, his wife of 36 years. Jeff was born July 23, 1958 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Carole A. (Adams) Waddell of New Oxford, and the late John A. Waddell. Jeff was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C. in New Oxford, and a life member of New Oxford Fire Company, New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, and McSherrystown Home Association. He was a volunteer with People Who Care, Make-A-Wish, and Amy's Ride for C.F., and he was an avid fan and volunteer with New Oxford Football. He was a New York Yankees and Oklahoma Sooner fan, and was always willing to help those in need. In addition to his wife and mother, Jeff is survived by two sisters, Vicky L. Waddell of New Oxford, and Denise L. Brown of Pflugerville, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 10 AM, at St. Paul's U.C.C., 20 S. Peters St, New Oxford, with Rev. Tom Lush and Alex Fabre officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday, from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. There will be no viewing at the church on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Association, American Kidney Foundation, New Oxford Fire Company, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
