Chad was a traveler, he spent time in Oregon and Alaska and would spend some time in Israel for the birth of his daughter Mia to Kim Sassoon in 2009. Chad and Kim met in South Carolina while she was in the states working, they were married between 2007 and 2009 in North Carolina. After Mia's birth, Chad moved back to the United States and Kim and Mia stayed in Israel.
Chad loved his family, his dog, Stella, trading baseball cards, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Chad passed away suddenly on October 4, 2022 at his place of employment in Austin, Texas.
Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah (Grant)Edwards, his brother, Johnny Adams, and two sisters, Jamie (Brent) Allen, Melinda (Adams) Hudson, and his second wife, Kim. Chad leaves behind his son, Christian Edwards of Amarillo; daughter, Alyssa Edwards of Amarillo; daughter, Mia Edwards of Israel; his father Ronnie Edwards and wife Joyce of Galveston; sister, Tammy (Adams) Wick of Lago Vista, Texas; brothers James Brent of Grapeland, and Jason Brent and wife Clarissa of Conroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chad will be cremated and a celebration of life event will be scheduled in the near future. Chad's family has peace knowing that he is reunited with his mom and loved ones in God's holy presence.
