Steven George Schneider, age 68, went to sleep in Jesus on April 2, 2022 after a period of declining health from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 27, 1953. Steve worked in the fixed fire protection industry for over thirty-five years and was always eager to share his extensive knowledge in training new employees. His interests ranged from riding motorcycle to baking pies and Bible study. He especially loved the book of Daniel and biblical prophecy.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debra (Pugh) Schneider, his two sons Mark (Megan) Schneider of Nashville, TN and Joel Schneider (and Heather Leech) of Acworth, GA. Preceded in death by his father Jacob Schneider and older brother Michael, Steve's surviving family include his mother, Elvena Schneider of Mifflin, PA; brothers Ron (Cheryl) Schneider of AZ and Tom (Kristen) Schneider of PA, and sisters Lorrie (Rob) Guillory of PA and Trina (Bill) Carmody of NH. Both Steve and Debbie grew up in the Harrisburg, PA area and share a rich tapestry of family connections including siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
