Narene Ann Parker, 84, was born the daughter of Robert Clarence Powell and Bertha Rebecca Rader Powell. She was united in marriage to Curtis Smith and to this union 2 children were born. Joann Smith Boler and Derrel Smith. She was later united in marriage on April 20, 1950 in Hardy, AR., to Vershel Parker who preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2001.
She was a beautician, retiring in 1963. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thayer, MO for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Harper Dispenza, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Rheita Pratt and Reba Treat. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vershel Parker, one son, Derral Smith, one daughter, Joann Boler, one brother, Donald Powell and one sister, Roberta Cross.
