The body arrived Homerville last Thursday and lay in state at the Jernigan Funeral Home until one hour before funeral services. Mr. Mikell was a native of Clinch county and had moved to Tampa about two years ago.
Among the survivors is a nephew, Eugene Mikell, of Homerville.
Immediate survivors include his wife, the former Lula Crews; two daughters Mr. Ludell Monk of Tampa, Mrs. Barkley Clifton of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, C.Z. Mikell, Jr., of Winter Haven, Fla.; Paul Mikell and Marion Mikell of Tampa; a sister, Mrs. Della Pittman of Albany; three brothers, D.C. Mikell and O.W. Mikell of Ray City and Elder John Mikell of Albany, 11 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
