C.Z. "Zack" MIKELL, 76, former Clinch county resident, died at a Tampa, Florida, hospital Wednesday of last week. Funeral services were held last Friday at 3p.m. at North Cemetery, near DuPont. Elder M.S. Peavy, Primitive Baptist Minister of Ray City, officiated.

The body arrived Homerville last Thursday and lay in state at the Jernigan Funeral Home until one hour before funeral services. Mr. Mikell was a native of Clinch county and had moved to Tampa about two years ago.

Among the survivors is a nephew, Eugene Mikell, of Homerville.

Immediate survivors include his wife, the former Lula Crews; two daughters Mr. Ludell Monk of Tampa, Mrs. Barkley Clifton of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, C.Z. Mikell, Jr., of Winter Haven, Fla.; Paul Mikell and Marion Mikell of Tampa; a sister, Mrs. Della Pittman of Albany; three brothers, D.C. Mikell and O.W. Mikell of Ray City and Elder John Mikell of Albany, 11 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
