Professional Basketball Player. She got her start in basketball at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, where she was named an WBCA All-American and The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from Texas she was drafted in round one as the 5th overall pick in the 2007 Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) draft. In her 8 year playing career she played for the New York Liberty's (2007-2010), the Tulsa Shock (2010-2011, 2013-2015) and the Los Angeles Sparks (2017). In her professional career she played in 225 games of which she started in 69. In 2018 she was hired as an assistant coach of the women's basketball team at her alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin.
