Floyd E. "Eddie" Weaver II, 64, of Moline, Illinois, died on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.

Julie K. Weaver, 67, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at home.

Floyd was born February 25, 1955, in Bristol, Tennessee, the son of Floyd I. and Patricia (Peeks) Weaver. He worked in the restaurant business for most of his career, managing or opening restaurants throughout the country. After leaving the industry, he worked for Walmart until his retirement. Eddie's family was most important to him and he would do anything for them.

Julie Kay Cooper was born June 7, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert and Ruth (Stuenkel) Cooper. She graduated from Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri, and was proud to have played the organ at Peace Lutheran Church in her younger years. She was the administrative assistant to the CEO of Genesis Medical Center, as well as board secretary, for many years, retiring in 2019. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa.

They were married on August 17, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri.

They are survived by three children, six grandchildren, her mother, her brother, his sister and his brother.

They were preceded in death by her father, Robert Cooper; his parents; his brother, Larry Weaver; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3 pm at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Corder, officiated by Pastor Kurt Brandon.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Peace Lutheran Church, Kansas City, Missouri.
