Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Albert Schulmeister who died Sunday at a Topeka hospital. He had cancer.

He was born Oct. 20, 1920 at Topeka, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schulmeister.

Mr. Schulmeister worked for the Union Pacific Railroad before retiring in 1978. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, American Legion and Lake Shawnee Golf Club.

He was married to Mrs.Loretta Brady, Jan. 9, 1974 at Reno, Nev. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Joseph Schulmeister, Topeka; three stepsons, Patrick Brady, Grand Forks, N.D., and Michael Brady and Glenn Head, both of Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Schulmeister, 711 Garfield; a sister, Mrs. Lorene Anspaugh, Topeka; and six grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Schulmeister will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
