He was born March 22, 1960, the son of Jesse and Alma (Cole) Grow and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident.
He had attended Harbor High School and, prior to his retirement for health reasons, he worked for Ray Roofing.
A hardworking and giving person, he enjoyed fishing, sports, and baseball. He loved his children and worked hard much of his life as a single parent to raise them.
His survivors include his mother, Alma Gayheart of Ashtabula; five children, Kenneth Grow II, Christina Monroe, Brandon Grow, and Brett Grow, all of Ashtabula and Angela (Brian) Orr of Geneva; six grandchildren, Mariah, Kenneth III, Alyssa, Brodie, Jaden, and Geanna; five brothers, Jesse Grow of Punta Gorda, FL, Ellis Grow of Conneaut, and Terry Grow, Columbus "C.L." Gayheart, and Wesley Gayheart, all of Ashtabula; and one sister, Sharon Hathy of Painesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki Gayheart; and his father.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
