Megan Sue Wheeler, 21, of McMillan, died Friday May 23, 2014 in Ann Arbor from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born January 4, 1993 in Newberry, daughter of Jeff Wheeler and LeAnn (Storms) McGahan, Megan received her G.E.D. from Tahquamenon Area Schools in 2013 and was presently taking online college courses. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, canning, fishing, hunting and making friendship bracelets.

Megan is preceded in death by her grandfather Freeman Wheeler and aunt Lucy Storms.

Survivors include her parents Jeffery (Marjorie) Wheeler, LeAnn (Harland) McGahan and David Beasinger all of McMillan; boyfriend Rich Haley of Newberry; siblings Christine Mariano of Saginaw, Cindy Wheeler and Kayla Beasinger both of McMillan, Cissy McGahan of Marquette, Basil McGahan of Curtis, Mathew, Jesse and Desirae all of Michigan, Debbie Ramer of Brooklyn, Kim Weikel of Ohio, David and Kenny Beasinger both of Taylor; grandparents Ray (Sharon) Beasinger of McMillan, Patsy Wheeler of McMillan and Robert (Sharon) Storms of Germfask; great-grandmother Maybelle Wilson of McMillan; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Thursday May 29, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Northstar Baptist Church in McMillan with Pastor Paul Williams officiating and also Saturday May 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Lakefield Baptist Church in McMillan with Pastor Charles Reed officiating.
