Katie Abbott, 61, of North Redington Beach, Florida, passed away on 06/27/2020.
Katie was born to parents Margaret and Walter, on 01/30/1959 in Ethiopia, Africa.
Katie graduated from Bronx High School of Science in 1976.
Katie went on to study Psychology at Hunter College and graduated in 1983. She continued her education at Long Island University with her Masters in Bilingual education and continued it yet again with her Masters in Education from Mercy College in 1997.
Katie worked as a Pre-K Teacher for 27 years years. After 27 years years of service, she retired from NYC Board of Ed and moved from NY to Florida.
Katie enjoyed reading, going to the beach, and being a mom.
Katie is survived by Megan Reilly, daughter.
Katie was preceded in death by Margaret, her mother, Walter, her father, Gerry, her brother and Karina, her beloved daughter.
