Fannie was the daughter of Charles Titus and Jane V. C. Blackwell. She is listed as Francis, rather than Frances, in several records. She was named for her maternal grandmother, Fanny Hart Blackwell. She married first to Samuel Rulon on 22 Apr. 1873 in Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ. They had two children: Charles and Hattie. She married second to Harry W. Gano on 28 July 1881 in Trenton.

GANO--In this city, on the 12th inst., Frances H, wife of Harry W Gano, in the 60th year of her age. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of her daughter, Mrs Robert J Clark, No 13 Passaic Street, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
