A Sad Accident
Last Thursday afternoon while Mrs. George W. Haertter was attending to her household duties upstairs, leaving the children playing together in the Kitchen, her youngest child, a son seventeen months old, fell into a tub of water, standing by, head foremost. Although the other children summoned her at once and she promptly came to his rescue, life was extinct when he was gotten out.
The funeral took place Sunday afternoon, the Rev. Richard Kaines officiating.
Lehman was their only son and the pride and joy of their life: The stricken family have the sympathy of the whole community.
