Mrs. Grace M. Smith, 92, died July 7 at the Ferry County Memorial Hospital.
Born April 1, 1879, in Gainesville, Tex., she moved to the Oklahoma Territory at the age of 10. She married J. R. Smith in El Reno, Okla., Feb. 13, 1900.
In 1912 they moved to Chelan where she made her home until 1942 when she moved to Okanogan. In 1950 she moved to Othello where she lived until three years ago when she moved to Republic to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Rod Inbody.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Henricks, Coulee Dam, Mrs. Rod Inbody, Republic; one son, Elliot Smith, Lamont, Calif.; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Her husband and son, Edwin preceded her in death.
