Martin A. Wolter, 51, St. Maurice, died about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday,July 22, 1987, in the Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 12, 1936, in Decatur County, the son of Frank and Mathilda Gauck Wolter. His father preceded him in death, but his mother survives, residing in Greensburg. He was a self-employed farmer and a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church.
He married Rose Moorman Nov. 12, 1964, at St. Maurice, and she survives; with four sons, Steve, Frank, Eric and Joe Wolter, all at home; one daughter, Tina Wolter, at home; five brothers, Carl and Bernard Wolter, both of Greensburg, Norbert Wolter, Columbus, Albin Wolter, Cincinnati, and Louis Wolter, Osgood; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Bicknell, Greensburg, Evelyn Kiefer, Westport, and Mrs. Leroy (Thelma) Grossman, Batesville.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Maurice Catholic Church, with the Rev. Henry Brown officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
