Joseph E. Moormann, 81, R.R.6, Greensbug, of the St. Maurice community, died at his home in 9:55 p.m. Thursday evening.

Mr. Moormann was born April 6, 1901, in Batesville, the son of Bernard and Anna Menkhaus Moormann. He was marrid to Alvina Oesterling Aug. 8, 1934, and she survives. He was a retired farmer.

He also has a surviving brother, Anthony Moormann, R.R.6, Greensburg, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

The services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Maurice Catholic Church with he Rev. Ron Ashmore officiating, and with burial in the St. Maurice Catholic Church with the Rev. Ron Ashmore officiating, and with burial in the St. Maurice Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home where a rosary will be conducted at 5 p.m. The family requests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Cancer Fund.
