Healdton - Funeral Services for Mr. Rudy Glenn Stewart, 78 of Graham are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Healdton with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating and his nephew Kent Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery with burial fireman honors provided by the Volunteer Fireman of Fox/Graham fire department. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Rudy was born February 9, 1944 in Matoy to the late Mr. Ben Andrew Stewart and Mrs. Veda Mae (Lawson) Stewart. He responded to his heavenly call on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in Oklahoma City.

Rudy was originally raised at Caddo moving to Graham as a young boy. He graduated from Graham High School in 1962 and soon after married the former Marlene "Molly" Faye McMahon on June 25, 1963, at Healdton First Baptist Church. They honeymooned at Duncan and the very next day returned to Graham, and never left. Rudy worked in the oilfield all of his working years, retiring from M&M of Ratliff City as a salesman in 2017. He was the only single survivor of original founding members of the Fox/Graham VFD. Rudy currently was serving the rank of Chief and always enjoyed aggravating, loved cooking, and being with his family, especially his adored grandson, Hunter. Rudy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fox, transferring his membership from Graham Baptist Church at its closing. Rudy never denied being there in times of anyone's emergencies or tragedies and our community honors him as a dedicated hero.

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Melissa K. Stewart in 1993; sisters, Sharon Perkins, Charlotte Baggett and Martha Wagers; brothers, G.W., Bill and A.D. Stewart.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Marlene "Molly" Stewart of the home; daughter, Kristi Stewart-Horton of Graham; adopted daughter, Carol Teel and husband Mark of Marlow; sister, Wanda Bailey of Royce City, TX; brother, John Stewart of Healdton; in laws, Gail Stewart of Sulphur and Roy Wagers of Graham; grandson, Hunter Creed Horton; and by a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be all his brothers and sisters of the Fox/Graham VFD and honorary bearers will be cherished nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
