Eric Matthew Rhodes, 53 of Hamilton, IL passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

He was born August 22, 1969 in Keokuk, IA the son of Don and Linda Thornton Rhodes. Eric graduated from Hamilton High School with the class of 1987.

Survivors include his parents, girlfriend, and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Eric had been employed by Roquette in Keokuk for ten years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Eric was an animal lover and loved all kinds of animals. He enjoyed tinkering on cars and engines and could fix anything. Eric also enjoyed buying and reselling various things and his favorite quote was "Let's get it done, not talk about it".

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Father Tony Trosley officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, IL.
