Lila Marie Roe, 75 passed away Tuesday September 6, 2022. She was born November 21, 1946 in Fairbury, NE to Lawrence A. Schoen and Helen C. (Egbarts) Schoen. She was raised in Plymouth, NE where she attended the Plymouth K-12 school. She married Peter G. Roe in December 1964 and remained married 49 years until his passing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend that will be greatly missed by many. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, watching sports, visiting with family and friends but most especially loved to cook and bake…for anyone and everyone. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 7175 Millington, TN and the Military Order of the Cootie Pup Tent #26 serving office in various capacities on the local and state levels. She volunteered and spent countless hours baking for and visiting patients at the VA Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
