A. Jerome McCormick, 86, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Predeceased by his wife, Ann of 52 years, he is survived by his two daughters and their husbands; and his six cherished grandchildren.
He was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Olyphant, PA and the University of Scranton, PA.
Jerry was a Veteran of the US Army.
He worked for National City Bank in NYC where he met his wife Ann. Jerry worked for GE until his retirement, then started a small tax business and worked summers at the Saratoga Race Track.
Active in politics, civic and community affairs his whole life, Jerry ran for NYS Senate. Among other things, he was a Board member of CDTA and was active in the local and statewide Democratic Party. Jerry loved to bowl and golf, but his favorite thing was attending all his grandchildren's events.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
