I, James W. Meek, being of the age of twenty-one years
and upwards, to wit, of the age of Sixty Five Years, hereby apply for membership in this
Society by right of lineal descent in the following line from Isaac Meek
who was born in Near Annapolis M'd on the 14th day of October 1746
and died in Jefferson County, Ohio, on the 12th day of Dec 1840
and who assisted in establishing American Independence.
I was born in Barnesville County of Belmont
State of Ohio on the 23rd day of September 1843.
I am a son of William Tingley Meek and
Elizabeth Shankland Meek, his wife, and
grandson of James Meek and
Elizabeth Tingley Meek, his wife, and
great-grandson of Isaac Meek and
Mary Robinson Meek, his wife, and
great-great-grandson of Isaac Meek and
