Obituary of Glenda Brooks Graves
IN THE CARE OF
Collier-Butler Funeral Home
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Glenda Brooks Graves, age 80, of Southside, who went to be with her Savior Saturday, September 24, 2022. Rev. David Denson and Pastor Thom Harrison will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Graves was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church and was involved with The Dreamers at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred M. and Lucille O. Brooks.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Gary Graves; sons, Tim (Becky) Graves, Kevin (Stephanie) Graves and Jeff (Niki) Graves; grandchildren, Tiffany Graves, Justin (Jennifer) Graves, Jordan Graves, Joshua White, Bailey (Mia) Graves, Aubie (Tre) Reese and 9 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Carroll, Jerry Eubanks, Jerry Rogers, Justin Graves, Jordan Graves and Bailey Graves.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Gadsden Health & Rehab Center.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude's or Wounded Warriors.
Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service.
