Services for Opal Vance Moss, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Griffin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Watson officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park
Mrs. Moss was born Feb. 22, 1921, in Oklahoma, to John Milton Vance and Julie Ann Adkins Vance. She died March 5, 2001, in the local hospital.
The widow of Thomas P. Moss, who died in 1982, she had lived in Ardmore 40 years and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Moss; her parents; five brothers; and five sisters.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Lynda Moss and Jerry and Terri Moss; and a daughter, Pat Moss, all of Ardmore; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be W.A. Mauldin, Gary Vance, Daron Flanagan, Alvie Mauldin, Jimmy McComber, Guymon Price and Buddy Sigler.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
