Thomas Newton Harris Jr., 57, of Graniteville, SC passed away peacefully, in his home, on January 5th, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Thomas Newton Harris Jr. served honorably in the United States Army.

Jr was born on February 27th, 1964, in Atlanta, GA. He lived a full life and will be remembered by his family and friends for his loyalty, honesty, respect, and most importantly, his love.

Jr enjoyed spending his time with his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed listening to hours of music and singing karaoke. Jr enjoyed riding motorcycles, making memories, and honoring our veterans by participating in Fallen but not Forgotten Military and the Patriot Guard Riders Organizations. Jr enjoyed firefighting and towing along with many other jobs through out his life. Jr was well known for his chatty character, and his late-night hours long conversations, he always had stories to tell and something to say.

Jr was a man who wouldn't hesitate to welcome you into his home and in his heart. He had a special guardian angel, Michelle Renee Self (Mikey).

Jr is survived by his wife, Betty J. Harris, his sons, Thomas N. Harris III (Nicole), Stephen R. Harris (Hopelin), his stepsons, James A. Abbey (Megan), and Edward T. Abbey (Suzy). He is survived by his brothers, Milton Harris Sr. (Brenda), Stanley Harris (Jody), Billy Harris (Mary Lou), and his sisters, Tina Corujo, and Teresa (Dusty) Campbell,Toni king,Jamey Smith. His grandkids, Noelle Burleson, Natalie Abbey, Nevaeh King, Calib Abbey, Justin Harris, Joshua Harris, Michael King, Isabella Harris, Anilah Abbey, Stephen Robert Harris, Emmett Abbey, Lincoln Abbey and a number of nieces and nephews.

Jr was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Newton Harris and Mary Lou Beck-Harris, his son John Michael Harris, his brothers Jerry Harris, Michael (Mike) Harris, and his sister Cheryl Chapman.
