Miss Helen T. Archer, prominent young resident of Watervliet, died at her residence, 1501 Seventh Avenue, following an illness of one week. She was employed as a clerk by the State Income Tax Bureau. Miss Archer was the daughter of Mrs. Philomena Archer and the late Antonio Archer of Watervliet.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Ralph and Allen Archer, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Iachetta, Mrs. Rose Iachetta and Mrs. Angeline Kershaw, all of Watervliet. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

The funeral was held from Parker Brothers Memorial, 2013 Broadway, and thence from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where a requiem mass was sung The funeral was private. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
