Jimmy Lee Cardin, age 76, passed away at home Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Jimmy was a 1964 graduate of Madisonville High School. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam; retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. Jimmy was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Geneva Cardin; brother, Bobby.

Jimmy is survived by wife, Peggy; sons, Drew (Heather), Erik (Carrie); granddaughters, Caidyn and Kennedy; and baby Gray, due in November.

He always greeted his girls with "Hey Good Lookin". Jimmy was so proud of his family and we were equally thankful to have had his love, guidance, and Christian example in our lives.

A special thank you to Edna and Dennis Cooper, Barbara Gourley (his ham and biscuit buddy) Amy, Heather, and April who could always make him smile, Blount Memorial Hospice.

Jimmy has so many friends who have prayed for him along this journey.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow with Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating.
