Succumbs Friday

Mrs. Julia F. Hoerner, 84, highly respected Lewisburg woman, died Friday morning at an Eaton Rest home after an extended illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of the community and a member of a prominent Harrison township family. She was a member of the Lewisburg Evangelical United Brethren church and active in women's groups of the church until declining health precluded participation.

She was the last surviving member of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel I. Bunger. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Robert Bunger, and three sisters, Mrs. Ora McNelly, Mrs. E.T. Moots and Mrs. G.M. Kumler

Final rites were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Lewisburg EUB church with the pastor, the Rev. Robert Copland, officiating. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Hoerner, veteran Lewisburg business man; one son, Wilbur F., superintendent of the Piqua schools; a daughter Mrs. Robert Warnke of Vandalia and a teacher in the Butler schools there; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
